V2 was a start-up invested by Netrove which had huge potential at the turn of the century promising then what QQ and Skype are doing today, way ahead of its time. Invested since 2000, this has been the longest running saga for Netrove as it has taken good 12 years to exit this investment.
There were several exit opportunities in between but they were botched because of market weaknesses and some internal management squabbles. V2 also went through the boom and bust of the internet era, surviving through it, transformed itself till today. Several of the original founders in V2 who have left have started their own businesses and found greater success elsewhere too.
