Garant – Mobel Holding International S.A. (GMHI) is expanding into the Polish market and has formed a joint venture with the Polish Association of Shopping Grupa Polskich Kupcow Meblowych ( GPKM ) . This was announced by Garant – Möbel Holding International board member, Franz Hampel and GPKM President Andrzej Rybacki at the side line of the IMM Cologne. GPKM has 40 outlets in Poland.
Together, the joint venture will develop a concept that is Polish oriented and will help the association gain 120 members within next two years. “We are here to impose not an existing concept, but to look very carefully what is best for the Polish market ” said Franz Hampel . According to Andrzej Rybacki, GPKM has chosen GMHI as a partner because after numerous conversations, both have similar approaches in business. The official start of the co-operation will begin at a joint booth at the Meble Polska in Posen in the period of 18th and 21st February 2014.
