Netrove is managed by a group of senior executives cum entrepreneurs who have extensive across the board skills acquired through lengthy stints in countries such as China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Vietnam. Our core ethos of seeking and achieving excellence in whatever we commit to - what we, at Netrove, characterised as the "Twin Pillars" of best quality in the shortest time - is what has underpinned our successes since our founding. The leadership team comprises people of this calibre, mindset and aspirations.

Max KS TehFounder & CEO of Netorve Ventures Group

Max's background spans the legal, corporate finance and advisory, venture capital and technology industries in Asia. Trained in London, then in Hong Kong, he has undertaken major engagements in M&A and corporate finance such as the listing of companies in Hong Kong, Malaysia and London and cross-border M&As. In the last three decades, he has been extensively engaged in investing and incubating technology start-ups and growth companies in Asia. He also founded and managed CrowdPlus, Malaysia's first crowdfunding platform which is registered with the Securities Commission of Malaysia, which was eventually acquired by an Australian Financial Services Group.

Prior to founding Netrove, he was a partner, director and COO at a regional investment firm based in Hong Kong. In his earlier years, he was a senior associate and a member of the Corporate & Finance team at CMS in Hong Kong, a leading English law firm where he specialised in corporate finance and commercial deals including international IPOs, M&As and public takeovers.

Max holds an LL.B. (Hons) from Leeds University, England and an LL.M. (Hons) from Queens' College, University of Cambridge, England. He is a Founding Council Member of the Association of Hong Kong Independent Non-executive Directors. Over the last 25 years, he has sat on the boards of various publicly listed companies in the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Singapore. Max is a committee member of the Business Board of the World Innovation & Change Management Council.

Joanne LeeSenior Associate

Joanne’s experiences cover investment, corporate finance and advisory work in the Southeast Asia and China.

She has been actively involved in various corporate exercises such as restructuring, M&As and IPOs and was part of the team managing the successful IPO for a software company in 2014. She is also extensively involved in advising and managing early-stage start-ups companies in Asia.

Prior to joining Netrove, she was a Senior Associate in OSK Investment Bank Berhad (now known as RHB Investment Bank Berhad) under its management training program.

She holds a BSc Actuarial Mathematics and BSc (Hons) Economics from University of Michigan.
